If you saw AppfoxBot/1.0 (+https://appfox.com/bot) in your server logs, that was us checking your website for a free report. Here is exactly what a check involves:

• loading your homepage once, the way a visitor’s browser would;
• reading robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt if they exist;
• checking that up to 12 links on your homepage open (a light request each, no page downloads);
• asking Google’s public PageSpeed service how fast the homepage loads on a phone.

We don’t submit forms, log in, or crawl the rest of your site. A check is a one-off visit, not ongoing monitoring.
